And...we have rarely, if ever, lost a SierraGold kitten to FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) in the 10+ years we have been breeding.

SierraGold also, from time to time, has beautiful retirees on our "AVAILABLE BENGAL ADULTS" page that are only 1-3 years young. These are pick of the litter kittens that have been retained by the cattery for their wonderful genetics and temperament and have done their job and are now looking for their forever homes. They are sold for a very nominal fee. Also, we invite you to view our "RESCUE KITTIES" ON THIS SAME PAGE. These Rescue Kitties are not SierraGold kitties but they are kitties that desperately need a good home and are placed for an exceptionally nominal fee.
PLEASE NOTE: We love huge rosettes too!...BUT at SierraGold we believe that simply producing huge rosettes on a cat is NOT what makes a Bengal. At SierraGold we have structured our program for the past 10 years to produce the very best Bengals in the world! Sure, we love the large rosetted cats....but they must fulfill many other requirements to meet both the Breed Standard and our own health and temperament standards as well. We are looking for healthy, super loving & outgoing, intelligent babies that have the true look of their wild ancestors....gorgeous heads with wonderful smooth rollingprofiles into strong necks, great muzzles, strong chins, large properly shaped eyes, smaller rounded ears properly set on the head, sound solid body with good length (not cobby), short to medium thick tails properly set & carried low, and fabulous silky soft thick pelts with striking contrast.....along with great patterns....spotted, rosetted and incredible marbles!.... The patterns should flow smoothly across the body of the cat.....not look like big blobs that appear like dollops of whip cream indiscriminately dropped on a cat. We breed for marble patterns that are alsoincredible, with wide bands of hot and cool, golden and brown colors flowing horizontally and artistically in beautiful designs along the body of the cat ....no bulls eyes! ........and not just a black cat with a touch of color here and there, swirling around to a bulls eye. Good tri color marble Bengals are planned....they don't just happen, as are the magnificent rosetted Bengals.

We thought you might like to see a Picasso x Rogue son from one of last years litters. This young stud muffin is owned by Howard and Judy Farrow of South Carolina.
He is just 5 1/2 months sold ---beautifully conditioned and loved by the Farrows. Watch for him at some upcoming shows in their area!
We hear he is incredibly sweet, lots of fun to live with.... and .....as you can see...very handsome!
